Questions
What is the cancellation policy?

You are able to cancel sessions up to 24 hours in advance of your appointment. If the notification comes within 24 hours of the appointment, I do charge a late cancellation/no-show fee.

Are there any changes in treatment options because of COVID-19?

I am currently only offering telehealth therapy sessions and am not offering in-person treatment. This policy will remain in effect until conditions change and it is safe to return to in-person appointments. If you are only interested in in-person services, I can put your name on my waitlist.

What are your fees for individual treatment sessions?

I am happy to discuss my fees more during our initial phone consultation. I charge a comparable price to other Ph.D. level clinicians in the Bay Area.

Do you accept insurance?

Unfortunately I do not accept insurance at this time. However, for individuals who have out-of-network behavioral health benefits, I am able to provide super-bills for reimbursement.

How do I pay for treatment sessions?

You are able to pay for sessions by cash or credit card. I use a secure client portal through which you can save credit card information and can receive billing statements.

What is your availability?

I am currently only seeing clients weekdays during the hours 8am-5pm. Please give me a call to discuss my specific current availability.

How long does treatment take?

I generally see people for at least a few months and at most a few years. We will be checking in regularly over the course of treatment to explore progress made and refocus on important goals. Generally, clients begin to see changes in the first few months of treatment.
